How to set up your Event Competitions

1. Make sure you have an EVENT created
2. Create your Category (Event > Categories)
   • By Bulk Upload of the Class Import CSV
   • Manually - Add New Category through the Category Section
3. Add Opening and Closing Notes per Category
4. Assign a Category Field Set to each Category
5. Add your Classes (Event > Classes)
   • By Bulk Upload of the Class Import CSV
   • Manually - Add New Class through the Classes Section
6. Assign Sponsors
   • Create Sponsors in the SPONSORS module
   • If appropriate, assign the sponsor to the class or category
7. Assign Judges
   • If appropriate
8. Assign Prizes
   • Set Prize Type
   • If cash: set amount for payout
   • Set Payout Method
9. Set if you want to allow multiple entry per class
   • eg. 10 x 1 pot of Jam
