Welcome to Entry Numbering

You can run your numbering at ANY time, and can renumber as many times as you need to until happy. Once you have gone to print with any materials or released the numbering to entrants, no further renumbering should be applied. You can still manually renumber individual entries if required. 

There are 4 numbering options for your Show:

• Start from 1 in each Class
  • As stated in the name - the entries will start at 1, and finish on the last entry of the class, beginning at 1 again in the next class
• Start from 1 in each Section
  • Eg. Cattle > Dairy > Holstein Friesian
  • The numbering will start at 1 for the first entry in the CATTLE section, and continue until the end of the last category within that section. 
• Start at a custom number in each category
  • This will allow you, Show Admin, to pick what number to start a category from
  • You can use the same number in multiple categories
  • You can start numbering from the start of the Section of from a sub-category
• Number entries from 1 throughout the entire show
  • Starts at 1, on the first entry, in the first listed class
  • Goes all the way until the last entry of the last class

In addition, you can also choose to

• Sort animal entries by the animal's Date of Birth (DOB)
• Give an ANIMAL the same number on all entries (saving the exhibitor changing numbers in each class)
• Sort animal entry numbers from Oldest to youngest, or youngest to oldest.

You can choose the numbering to be applied immediately upon entry also

• Instant / Automatic Entry Numbering
• Note: you cannot manually renumber with this method
• Note: you cannot use 'same number for animal in all classes' option with this method

To run the ENTRY NUMBERING

1. Log into your Show website as an Admin
2. Open the event in question from SHOW EVENTS
3. Click on ENTRIES 
4. Click into the RENUMBER ENTRIES tab
5. Choose from the options presented
6. Click on EXECUTE NUMBERING
   1. You will see a Warning: This script should not be run after entry numbers have been published.
      NOTE: This will override any manual changes which have been made to entry numbers.
   2. This is so that you don't accidentally renumber if you have already printed your Exhibit Cards or released your Entries
   3. Click on RENUMBER once you are happy to proceed
7. You will now see all the entries numbered as instructed.
