Official list of terms and technical references used in show guides and videos in relation to the ISA SuperShow system
A
Administration (CMS Module/Admin): The area where you can manage Users, Files and Email Settings and Email Templates, Captcha Keys and Custom Tracking Scripts of your website.
Admin: A user on the event site that has editing rights to the website. Various role levels can be applied to an admin.
Appearance (CMS Module/Design): The area where you can manage how the website layouts and themes are configured. Change the colouring of your website, update global blocks of information in your header. Set the default date format, address defaults and Company Registration labels and Tax Number requirement.

Back End: The administration level access of the website - you must be an admin to view this area. The back end is the server side of an application that provides functionality and is inaccessible to users.

Content management system (CMS): A content management system (CMS) is software that helps users create, manage, and modify content on a website without the need for technical knowledge. In other words, a CMS lets you build a website without needing to write code from scratch.
CSV - comma seperated value: A type of spreadsheet, like an Excel worksheet, but does not have any formatting included
Cache: A cache is a storage location that gathers temporary data to help websites load faster.

DNS: The technical data that controls what an internet browser returns when a user types in your domain name. It is like a signpost for the internet. DNS translates the human readable domain names so your browser can load the requested resource, which is located on a machine readable IP address.

Events: An event that has a date and a title, but is not the Show Event. A Show Event is created through the SuperShow menu.
Embed Code: A piece of code (HTML) that you can add to a page on your website to display a third party's visual element (video, form, ticket page) so they can display their application on your page.
Enquiries: A list of all the contact requests that have been submitted through the 'Contact Us' page

Front End: The webite, as the general public wiill see it. The front end is the user side of an application that displays information and allows users to interact with the program.
