Welcome to Give discount to Trade Application

TO DISCOUNT A TRADE APPLICATION

If you have an applicant who has created their own order, and want to give them a disount, you can do so BEFORE they complete their order, ie. their items are still in the cart. 

If impersonating an applicant, and manually entering their application for them, using the impersonate option, send the order to the checkout BUT DO NOT MAKE A PAYMENT or PLACE THE ORDER

INSTEAD:

  1. Stop impersonating the user you were applying for - Make sure you are logged in as just Show Admin

  2. Go to Commerce > Orders > Overview > Click on Carts

  3. Find the user's order that is still in that person’s cart > click on VIEW

  4. You can now add a discount on the order > enter the amount > click UPDATE

  5. There is a button to impersonate him on this screen > click on that. IF NO IMPERSONATE button, go to Administration > Users > find user and impersonate

  6. Either you or the applicant can now complete the order at the discounted rate.

  7. Complete the order and continue to pay the balance due.
