Welcome to Change Homepage Section's Backgrouds

This Section is for advanced Users only, with the relevant privileges allocated to update this Section. 
Please check with your Main Site Admin for more information.

This is best tested on your Staging site.

Please first make a copy of an original Brand-designed Theme before editing this section until you have the right colours enabled. You cannot revert colour changes once they have been updated. 

Many events will have Brand Guidelines, so please use these colours to apply to your chosen themes and layouts. 

To update the Background Colours on a Homepage Section

1. Go to the CMS > Appearance Section
2. Choose a Theme
   1. Reminder: if editing a live site, it may be best to test on a dummy theme (use a copy of the live theme for example)
   2. Change the Enabled Status to preview the change on the live site
3. Click on the Homepage Section Settings tab
4. Enter a background image URL OR a Background Colour. 
   1. Please make sure the image URL is publicly visible (test by viewing on a browser where you are not logged in)
   2. Make sure the background colour is in line with your branding
5. Click Save & Close / Save Changes
