Creating a Show Event:
When you need to create a new show event, you can choose to;
- Copy the previous show structure
- (classes, categories, trade areas, sponsors, judges, team, business categories) as a base for your next event OR
- Create a new blank event
If this is your first event, or you need to create a distinctly separate event, you can choose to create a new event without making a copy,as an empty shell, ready to populate with your Classes, Trade, Sponsors, Judges and/or Business Categories.
Please note: If you already have a show event created, that you wish to use as the basis for your next event, please refer to the Finish Last Event / Create Copy for Next Event help page.
To Create your New Event (without copy)
- Go to SuperShow > Events
- Click Add New
- Enter a Title*, Type* (choose Show), Summary, Content, Weblink, Contact Details, Show Dates*
- * denotes mandatory fields
- Stage is automatically in PREPARATION STAGE until you are ready to publish it, by making it ACTIVE.
- Click Save Changes / Save & Close to view event.
- You will see your new event displayed under SHOW EVENTS in the left side menu.
- Once created, you can choose which management areas you wish to enable
- Go to your Show Event > Settings
- Choose from Trade Applications, Trade Directory, Competition Entries, Show Sponsors, Show Team, Tickets
- Click Save Changes
- You will now see the options below your chosen event grow to what you have chosen.
If you need to disable a management area for some reason, it will still keep a copy of the data in the relevant section. The data will still be there when you enable that area again.
