Add a New Page or Edit an existing page on your website.
Log into the SuperShow Platform as a User with an assigned Show Admin role
If you need a new role assigned to you or any update to your Role privileges, please contact your assigned SuperUser.
Go to CMS from the Management Section and expand the CMS options
Click on Pages
Choose to EDIT: Choose the page you wish to update and click on Edit from the buttons on the right of the page title.
Choose to ADD NEW: Click on + Add if you wish to add a new page
Pages are arranged under the heading Top Menu, Main Menu, and Footer Menu.
On the Page Identification tab, enter a Title for the Page - this will create the name of the page in the URL also,
eg. Page title: Show Day, URL: www.city-show.com/show-day
Choose the Menu Area: this will set which menu on the website will display your page - Top, Main or Footer menu.
System Menu is only visible to people with access to the CMS. You will not see this menu on the general public view of the website.
This will be used initially for the store of your feature/system pages, eg. Enter a Competition, Apply for a Trade Stand, and Sponsors List. Any page that uses your SuperShow modules, and is automated from your website via a bespoke module. These can be moved to other Menu Areas.
Choose the Parent Page
No Parent: It will show in the main menu (Level 1 page)
Other Page as parent page: this page will show underneath that page in your menu, as a 'child' of the chosen page. (Level 2, 3, 4.. the structure of your pages has no limit)
Choose Position
Choose where in the array of pages you would like your page to display.
Depending on which Menu you choose, the position will display differently.
Set Page Visibility
Display Visible: everyone will see the page on the website
Display Hidden: people will not see the page on the public view of the menu, but will be able to access it with a direct link to the page. Google Search bots will also be able to find the page, so it may show in search results.
Display Blocked: Nobody can see the page, including Google.
Enter your Page Content
Summary - will display in bold at the top of the page
Upper Content - will display below the summary
Lower Content - will display beloew upper content, below any images added to the page, and below any children pages.
