Welcome to Events

Events are activities that happen between X and Y dates, or on one date. All events created on the platform will be displayed on the overall Events system page. For example: https://www.cityshow.supershow.io/events

In SuperShow, there are currently 2 types of Events; 

1. CMS Events
   • Available as part of the Website CMS, on all eCommerce sites
   • Has start date, end date, title
   • Content Description, Contact details
   • Ticketing module available on Events (please contact the ARD Software team if you wish to discuss / add Ticketing)

   • Access via CMS > Events
2. Show Event
   • Available for SuperShow clients only
   • The SuperShow management tier is enabled per site. If you do not have SuperShow enabled, or require more information on SuperShow, please contact a member of the support team.
   • Show Events include;
     • Management of Competitions (Classes, Categories, Entries, Results, Prizes, Judges, Category Field Sets)
     • Management of Trade (Areas, Addons, Applications, Business Categories)
     • Management of Team 
     • Show Tickets available (full ticketing integration with Trade Applications, Competition Entries, Sponsors) (please contact the team if you wish to discuss / add Ticketing)
     • Start and End Date
     • Active and Preparation modes
     • Separate Taxes, trade application methods, pdf settings, bank payout settings per event
   • Create a Show Event as either; 
     • A copy of a previous event's structure
     • A blank template event
   • Access via SuperShow > Events
