reCAPTCHA protects your website from fraud and abuse without creating friction.
reCAPTCHA uses an advanced risk analysis engine and adaptive challenges to keep malicious software from engaging in abusive activities on your website. Meanwhile, legitimate users will be able to login, make purchases, view pages, or create accounts and fake users will be blocked.

Each site should have Google reCAPTCHA enabled. Most sites will have this enabled upon going live as standard.

To enable your Google reCAPTCHA keys on your site, please follow the steps here: 

1. Log into Google Captcha admin: https://www.google.com/recaptcha/about/
2. Add new reCAPTCHA account or check existing key codes
3. Enter title for captcha
4. Enter domain for captcha, without the www.
5. Choose reCaptcha type v3
6. Add email addresses for people to be notified for issues
   1. Please add support@dotser.ie to this list, if doing it yourself
7. Under reCAPTCHA keys, you will get the SITE KEY and SECRET KEY
8. WIth these keys, go to your Dotser CMS and navigate to Administration > Settings > Other > Captcha Keys
9. Enter the Site key and the Secret key
10. Click Save

Your forms on the site are now being passed through the reCAPTCHA tool and should reduce any spam messages being sent by bots, or spammers.
