Coupons are a useful way to track discounts your organisation has given.
You can give a user a coupon code to use in their Cart to claim a discount against their order total.
- From your system Administration, go to Commerce
- Click on Settings
- Open the Coupons tab
- Click on Add New
- Enter a Title for the Coupon, enter a code that you will release for people to use, and set a value on the coupon.
- Click on Save and Close
- Coupons and Tickets - If you want the coupon to be used for customers when purchasing Tickets, the coupon must be enabled on "each" ticket option you have setup. This can be done by editing the specific ticket option and selecting at the end of the page which coupon you want to enable for that ticke type.
- Issue the coupon to the customer(s) to start using.
Some settings in this area are still in Beta Mode, and are under development. In particular, 'Using Rules' and 'Advanced Rules' are still under development.
