You've reached that point where you are closing entries, congratulations!
Before you finalise all entries, we recommend reviewing your Unfinished Entry list, so you can remind those unfinished entries by email/phone, that the closing date is close. This might generate some additional entries for your show. Reasons for unfinished entries can be anything from the person did not have the correct information ready to enter, their internet connection failed, to they were waiting to have more entries before completing, and anything in between.
CLOSE ENTRY TO CLASSES
Complete all steps in order to stop all methods of entry for exhibitors.
- BULK CLOSE CLASSES Event > Classes > Bulk Update > Class Status > Set all to Closed
- Hide ENTER CLASS (/enter-class) page
- Leave SHOW/VIEW CLASS (/show-class) page visible, to view all classes - this will allow people to still view the class description, sponsors, and any categeory opening and closing notes while keeping the class marked as 'Closed'
- BLOCK CLASS ACCESS > SuperShow > Settings > Competition Entries > Allow Competition Pages Access to Public > Set to 'No - the public cannot see any Competition pages'
- Add a message here that will show on the competition entry page
- Delete All Unfinished Entries - this will ensure that any entries that have been started will not be able to be completed, after you have closed your entries. This can be done from Show Event > Entries > Delete All Unfinished Entries button. If you have not got access to this, please log a Service Desk ticket or contact a higher level Admin from your event.
- The classes are now fully closed, while class information is able to be viewed on the /show-classes page.
