There are currently 4 Trade Application systems available with your SuperShow license;
- Trade Enquiries Accepted Only / Expression of Interest (Vendor submits basic info - Trade Manager approves/declines user's request)
- Booking Enquiry First (Vendor submits full application - no payment requested until approved)
- Booking with Deposit (% of the booking fee requested with the application - paid via Stripe &/or Deferred option)
- Payment with Application (Payment in full with application via Stripe &/or Deferred option)
1. Trade Enquiries Accepted Only / Expression of Interest
Release: October 2024
- The 'Trade Enquiries Accepted Only' is a new trade enquiry option added in 2025 where a vendor creates their account, chooses an area (no prices displayed) and gives some notes to support their request - with the hope of being accepted to apply to trade at the event.
- The Trade Manager approves or rejects this request via the Trade Dashboard - with SuperShow sending an automatic email back to the applicant to let them know they were successful or not this time.
- The approved vendor account is then able to make an application.
- Only the approved account will be able to create an application for the approved vendor account.
BENEFITS:
- The vendor does not need to fill in a full application in order to be accepted
- The Trade Manager can restrict the amount of applications accepted, and in turn how many they need to review
- Allows the Trade Manager to accept expressions of interest without having to release pricing / finalise stand areas, or finalise trade application questions
DRAWBACK:
- A minor additional step for the Show Admin and Trade applicant to handle - log in and approve the applicant
- Additional step for the vendor
HOW TO ACTIVATE: SHOW EVENTS > Expand your event > Open Settings > Go to Trade Applications (All Stands) tab > From Trade Application System > Trade Enquiries Accepted Only > Save Changes

2. Booking Enquiry First
The vendor completes the full trade application and submits the application for review - no account pre approval required.
The vendor's application must wait to be accepted by the Trade Admin BEFORE they can pay for their stand.
Once the Show Administrator reviews and updates the application, an automatic email is issued
Automatic Email Notification Sequence:
- Vendor submits trade application: Sent the TradeStandBooked (Default Application Status: Waiting for Purchase Approval) notification email
- Trade Admin approves the application: Applicant is sent the TradeStandSubmissionStatusUpdated\ApprovedPurchase notification email
- Trade Admin declines the application: TradeStandSubmissionStatusUpdated\Declined notification email
- HOW TO ACTIVATE: SHOW EVENTS > Expand your event > Open Settings > Go to Trade Applications (All Stands) tab > From Trade Application System > Booking Enquiry First > Save Changes
- The page where they will apply is /show-tradestand (System Page)

3. Booking With Deposit
Release: 2024
- Trade Application requires deposit fee.
- Applications must be approved by an Admin before they can pay balance.
- Balance can be paid for the booking once the application is approved.
- Refund will be issued if cancelled.

4. Payment with Application
The trade applicant makes an application via the online process, and pays for the applicaiton in full when the application is submitted.
BENEFITS: Simplest way for Traders to apply and pay
DRAWBACKS: If the event does not want to accept the trader, the money needs to be refunded
