You can use your Google Workspace outgoing server to send out mail.
However, Google has security settings enabled by default
Sign in with app passwords
If you are the Google Workspace Administrator, you can go to Google Workspace > App Passwords and create an app password for the site.
Once you have your information ready, you will need to enter the following information:
- Go to Administration > Settings > Mail
- Change the Outgoing Server to SMTP
- Enter the requested details
- Host
- Port (Encryption)
- Gmail SMTP port (TLS) with port 587 or Gmail SMTP port (SSL) with port 465
- Choose either one
- Encryption
- As above (Port/Encryption) - use either TLS or SSL
- Gmail SMTP TLS/SSL required: Yes
- Username
- Your mailbox address (for example, example@domain.com/gmail.com)
- Password
- From Name
- Name to appear on outgoing
- From Address
- Email Address that is sending the email
- Click Save
- Click Test Settings
- Response you would like to see is: Settings updated and test email sent successfully!
- Check your mailbox also for an email to verify same.
